The Dirt: Potting Soil

All Roots Planter Co. • May 12, 2020

Container plants need a balance of moist, well-draining soil.  Potting soil is the right choice for your plants in our planters.  Potting soil is developed to be a well balanced growing environment.  A mix of organic materials allows both air and water to flow through the soil while retaining enough moisture to satiate your plant's thirst.

Potting soil is perfect for your container plantings, in your home and outdoors.  Cover the drain holes with a few small pebbles or mesh, to keep the potting soil mix from falling out.  Fill your planter up about 3/4 of the way with potting soil, add your seedlings or plants, firm them in with a little more potting soil, water...and you are ready to grow.
